The Malvern Stroll Lemonade Stand will honor Giuliana "the Brave" Troiano, who was diagnosed with cancer at just 9 months old.
Businesses along King Street in Malvern will spend Thursday, June 15 honoring a local childhood cancer hero. Businesses along the street will hold a street-wide lemonade stand event that will raise money to combat childhood cancer through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The event, held from noon to 8 p.m. on King Street, will honor Giulianna "the Brave" Troiano and her SuperSib, Francesca Troiano. Giulianna was diagnosed with cancer at just 9 months old when her pediatrician found a Neuroblastoma in her abdomen. Giulianna has inspired many people in the community to be brave, including David Campli of Campli Photography, a press release sates. Campli has hosted a similar event for many years and is excited to include all of the shops along King Street this year.
Supporters can also donate on the Malvern Stroll Lemonade Stand fundraising page online here. Organizers hope to raise $2,000, which funds almost a week of research.
