Route 30 To Route 202 Ramp Closing In East Whiteland, West Whiteland

PennDOT said the ramp from eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 is scheduled to close in East Whiteland and West Whiteland townships overnight this week.

The ramp will close nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning Monday July 24 through Saturday July 29, PennDOT said. Before the ramp closes each weekday night, there will be lane restrictions on the ramp from eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

During construction, motorists will be detoured to the Business U.S. 30 exit, right on eastbound Business U.S. 30 and right onto the ramp to northbound U.S. 202.

Eastbound U.S. 30 motorists should expect backups and slow moving traffic when approaching the ramp to northbound U.S. 202.

Motorists are also advised that one-of-the-two lanes on the ramp from southbound U.S. 202 to U.S. 30/Exton Bypass remain closed for the replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement. Southbound U.S. 202 motorists will encounter backups approaching the U.S. 30 Interchange, especially during peak travel times. Drivers heading to the U.S. 30/Exton Bypass and Business U.S. 30 should remain in the right lane on southbound U.S. 202 approaching the interchange, leaving the center and left lane for motorists continuing south on U.S. 202.

Crews will be working on overhead bridge construction.
