The Investment in Professional Imaging


For the same price, are you more likely to pay for a real estate agent who just provides their basic services, or for one who provides their basic services with professional photography, aerial photography, and outstanding marketing?  It’s an easy decision for a seller.  However, some agents are not willing to make the investment.


According to REDFIN, “Homes with professional photos get 61% more views.”  If the home is viewed more often, the listing agent’s name will be as well.

Regarding aerial photography, listings with aerial images sell 68% faster than homes with standard images according to MLS Statistics.


 


The statistics with using videos are staggering.  According to BoldContentVideo.com, “73% of homeowners would be more likely to list with a realtor who uses video to market their home.”  Furthermore, “real estate listings with video receive 403% more inquiries than those which do not include video.”


While professional photography, aerials, and advertising are an expense, they are also an investment.  The return: additional house hunters seeing your listing/name, the potential for the listing to sell sooner, and potential to get other listings in the future.
